Orchard Point Oysters are family raised

Raised on Maryland's Eastern Shore, I grew up surrounded by the bounty of the Chesapeake Bay.  I worked several jobs after college, but my long-term goal became a quest to figure out how to make a living on the Bay.  I heard about the introduction of oyster farming in Maryland and was enamored with the concept.  Here was a way to help restore the Bay, revive a once thriving product, and earn an honest living.

 

After several years of research, working with state agencies and strenuous testing, I planted my first crop in the spring of 2015. Oysters are my passion and that can be seen in every aspect of my business - from the TLC that each oyster receives, to the insistence on selling only the freshest product.  

 

Orchard Point Oysters are produced by Orchard Point Oyster Co. LLC which is a family owned and operated business. Orchard Points are available via direct restaurant sales and seafood distributors.
